Sonia has been in the real estate industry for over 8 years. Her first two years were spent in Manhattan working primarily as a rental agent and in that time, she developed several skills that would help her as she transitioned in to Queens. Once she came over to Queens, Sonia focused primarily on residential sales and she has been selling houses, coops, and condos ever since. Over the last 6 years Sonia has consulted with numerous home buyers on their real estate goals. She has helped countless families find their homes, and she has transacted over 60 deals, all of which come with different challenges. Work History
Sonia entered the real estate industry in July, 2011 after working in the fruit importing industry for 8 years as an Executive Assistant. After proving herself for 8 years as an executive assistant, Sonia was promoted to the role of Office Manager. As Office Manager, Sonia was responsible for overseeing & facilitating office operations, service personnel, contractors, and general administrative staff. This past work experience translates directly to her work as a Buyer Agent because it gives her the opportunity of dealing with people at all levels. Education
Sonia has earned an Associates Degree in Business Management from Queensborough Community College. Sonia is also a licensed translator for the nation of Colombia, a license she earned at the National University of Colombia.
